Anand Residence is a compact residential landscape designed as a private, resort-like retreat—where every edge becomes green, every movement becomes calm, and the garden experience feels immersive despite limited space. The layout transforms narrow side setbacks and outdoor pockets into usable, richly planted pathways, intimate sit-outs, and a tranquil arrival sequence.
Theme: Tropical Zen Courtyard — a calm, meditative garden atmosphere created through lush tropical planting, textured stone patterns, and a serene water-feature focal point.
Our design approach prioritizes privacy, greenery, and a slow-walk experience—using layered tropical planting and a clean hardscape language to elevate everyday movement into a sensory garden journey.
Key intentions include:
A green-buffered edge landscape that screens surrounding buildings and boundaries using dense tropical planting
A walkable garden sequence with stepping stones, private pathways, and defined outdoor pauses
A calm focal moment using a Buddha + water feature composition supported by aquatic plants and soft lighting
A refined hardscape identity using chevron-pattern granite flooring with banding and clean kerb detailing
The primary movement spine is treated as a tropical garden corridor—structured with planter edges, layered foliage, and patterned paving to create a boutique-resort feel.
A quiet meditation node anchors the landscape with a Buddha + water feature, framed by tropical planting and aquatic species—creating a strong visual stop and a soothing soundscape.
A private lawn zone is planned for daily relaxation—supported by a pathway loop, soft lawn surface, and outdoor furniture placement, turning a small pocket into a usable family sit-out.
The entry is highlighted through floating steps, clean paving geometry, and planter-based softening—making the threshold feel lighter and visually premium.
Chevron-pattern granite flooring with banding as the signature paving identity
Stepping stones to slow movement and add a garden-walk character
Granite kerb edges and recessed service detailing for a clean finish
Planter boxes and pots integrated along boundaries and key pauses
The palette is planned as a tropical, layered composition—mixing broad-leaf textures, vertical screening, and flowering highlights for year-round interest.
Planting direction includes:
Tropical screens and foliage for privacy and depth
Flowering accents to add seasonal color
Feature trees positioned to frame views and soften built edges

Spatial layout of garden pathway, lawn pockets, and focal features
Hardscape concept including paving patterns, steps, and kerb detailing
