KNS Mudra

KNS Mudra

Project Overview

KNS Mudra is a gated residential layout envisioned at Nagarthahalli, Mysuru—planned as a calm, green community where open spaces and everyday movement form the heart of the living experience. The landscape is designed to establish a clear identity for the development while supporting practical day-to-day use through parks, pocket greens, and amenity-led outdoor zones.

Landscape Design Intent

Our landscape approach focuses on creating a walkable, people-first open-space framework—a connected network of streetscape greens, community parks, and shaded pause points that enhance comfort, safety, and community interaction.

Key intentions include:

  • A coherent open-space hierarchy—primary parks, secondary pocket greens, and shaded seating nodes

  • A strong pedestrian structure with intuitive wayfinding and safe, continuous internal movement

  • Microclimate comfort through shade planning, tree buffers, and scaled outdoor rooms

  • Green edges and landscape buffers that improve privacy and soften built/site boundaries

  • Outdoor spaces that feel functional, not leftover—planned for daily routines and long-term usability

Outdoor Lifestyle & Amenities

The landscape is designed to support a balanced community lifestyle—blending wellness, leisure, play, and social gathering opportunities.

Outdoor amenity zones include:

  • Wellness & movement: walking/jogging loop intent, yoga-friendly greens, shaded rest pauses

  • Community greens: social lawns and multipurpose open spaces for gatherings

  • Kids & family: dedicated children’s play pockets integrated with visible, safe greens

  • Recreation: flexible activity zones / courts as part of the open-space network (as per stage)

  • Streetscape experience: tree-lined avenues, pedestrian paths, and landscape-led arrival sequences

Design Approach

The landscape language balances clarity and character—using a consistent palette of greens, pathways, and outdoor rooms to create a premium plotted-community feel without visual clutter. The planning emphasises legibility: clear zoning, strong pedestrian links, and usable outdoor spaces that residents can occupy daily. Materials, planting intent, and furniture zones are structured to enhance comfort, identity, and maintenance practicality.
