Project Overview
Mr Shrinivas Reddy Residence is a compact residential landscape designed as a calm, premium outdoor extension of the home—where a strong water feature focal point, soft lawn, and layered planting create a relaxing everyday retreat. The landscape transforms a limited outdoor pocket into a usable sequence: a meditation corner, a green lounge zone, and a clean stepping-stone movement path that connects the spaces with clarity and ease.

Theme Statement
Theme: Contemporary Zen Garden — a composed, meditative atmosphere created through a water-wall feature, a Buddha focal composition, clean hardscape geometry, and layered green edges for enclosure.

Landscape Design Intent
The design intent is to make the outdoor space feel quiet, structured, and immersive—despite being compact. Every element is planned to bring calm: slow movement, a focal pause, and soft green buffers that improve privacy and reduce visual noise.

Key intentions include:

  • A defined Zen focal zone using a water-wall + Buddha composition as the visual anchor

  • A soft lawn pocket for daily sit-out use and family relaxation

  • A stepping-stone pathway that guides movement gently and adds garden character

  • Layered green edge buffers to soften boundaries and create privacy

  • Clean, minimal hardscape detailing for a refined, modern finish

Outdoor Experience & Key Spaces
Buddha + Water Feature Corner
A calm meditation node is formed with a water-wall backdrop and Buddha placement—creating a strong visual stop and a soothing soundscape. This corner becomes the emotional center of the garden.

Lawn Sit-out Pocket
A compact lawn zone is planned as the primary usable outdoor surface—ideal for informal seating, kids’ play, and everyday relaxation. The lawn is framed by planter edges to keep it neat and visually structured.

Garden Walk + Stepping Stone Movement
A clean stepping-stone strip connects the garden zones while slowing movement—turning a simple passage into an experience. The path is supported by planting on edges for softness and enclosure.

Planter Edge Seating + Boundary Softening
Planter ledges and corner planting beds are used to soften boundaries and add depth. Where possible, planter edges are designed to work as informal seating or pause points.

Materials & Hardscape Language

  • Minimal, clean-toned outdoor flooring with sharp border definition

  • Stepping stone grid with gravel/pebble joints for garden texture

  • Planter ledges with neat coping finish for a premium edge detail

  • Feature water-wall cladding for texture and focal richness

  • White pebble beds and drainage-friendly planting pockets for clean maintenance

Planting Character
The planting palette is planned to feel lush yet controlled—mixing tropical textures with low-maintenance structure to keep the garden looking full and calm throughout the year.

Planting direction includes:

  • Dense screening shrubs for boundary softening and privacy

  • Broad-leaf tropical foliage near the focal corner for depth

  • Flowering accents for seasonal color and highlights
