Mr.Nagesh Residence

Mr. Nagesh Residence

Project Overview

Mr. Nagesh Residence is a contemporary residential landscape envisioned as a calm, green sanctuary—where structured outdoor zones, lush planting edges, and crafted focal elements come together to create a refined everyday retreat. The design transforms open lawn space and boundary edges into a layered garden experience with a clear movement sequence, interactive sit-out pockets, and a strong feature destination.

Theme Statement

Theme: Contemporary Tropical Retreat — a clean, modern landscape atmosphere created through bold lawn geometry, dense tropical planting, warm timber decking, and a sculptural water-feature focal point.

Landscape Design Intent

The concept focuses on building a resort-like outdoor experience through a balance of open green lawn, privacy planting buffers, and signature elements like swing decks and a water-feature wall.

Key intentions include:

  • A lush green boundary buffer to soften walls and enhance privacy using layered tropical foliage

  • A slow-walk garden movement using stepping stones and curved pathways that guide the experience

  • A feature destination zone anchored by a cascading water wall and deck sit-out

  • A modern outdoor lounging experience using pergola swing seating and timber-finish platforms

  • A clean material language that keeps the space contemporary while allowing greenery to dominate

Outdoor Experience & Key Spaces

Central Lawn + Garden Loop

A spacious lawn forms the heart of the landscape—kept open and breathable, while pathways curve around it to create a relaxed walking loop and flexible family-use zone.

Swing Deck Sit-out

A timber deck with pergola swing seating acts as a signature leisure node—designed for daily lounging and evening relaxation, framed by planting and visually connected to the feature wall.

Feature Water Wall Corner

A sculpted stone-and-texture water feature wall becomes the main visual anchor—adding soothing sound, a premium resort feel, and a strong backdrop for the deck space.

Boundary Planting + Screening

Dense planting wraps along the site edges to soften hard walls, provide privacy, and create a continuous green backdrop—enhancing the “garden enclosure” feeling.

Materials & Hardscape Language

  • Stepping stones and pathway bands to guide movement and slow the walk experience

  • Timber-finish deck flooring for the sit-out zones and swing courts

  • Clean kerb lines and lawn edging to keep the design sharp and modern

  • Textured stone cladding for the water feature wall and focal edges

Planting Character

The planting palette is designed as a tropical layered massing—balancing height, texture, and depth for a rich green look through the year.

Planting direction includes:

  • Dense tropical screens along boundaries for privacy

  • Mid-height shrub layers for softness and volume

  • Accent foliage and flowering highlights near focal zones

  • Feature trees positioned to frame views and add canopy character
