Project Overview
XXXXX Terrace Landscape is a compact rooftop retreat designed to feel open, breathable, and quietly luxurious—transforming a typical terrace into a layered outdoor living space. The layout blends a plunge pool deck, shaded pergola corner, and soft green edges to create a calm, resort-like atmosphere within the home’s footprint.
Theme Statement
Theme: Urban Resort Terrace — a clean, contemporary rooftop experience shaped through water, warm decking, structured planters, and filtered shade.
Landscape Design Intent
Our design approach focuses on comfort, privacy, and usable zones—balancing hardscape clarity with soft planting to make the terrace feel like an everyday getaway.
Key intentions include:
A leisure-focused pool deck with clear circulation and spill-resistant, low-maintenance finishes
A shaded pergola lounge that filters light and creates a defined outdoor “room”
Green perimeter buffers using planter beds and tall foliage to soften edges and increase privacy
A seamless indoor–outdoor connection using clean paving geometry and uncluttered thresholds
A calm, minimal planting language with layered textures and easy upkeep
Outdoor Experience & Key Spaces
Plunge Pool + Deck Zone
The pool becomes the terrace centerpiece—framed by a warm deck edge and clean coping, creating a refreshing focal moment and a premium resort feel.
Pergola Sit-Out Corner
A shaded seating bay under a patterned pergola offers a relaxed hangout space—ideal for evening conversations, reading, or quiet downtime.
Perimeter Planter Spine
Planter beds run along railings and walls to soften built edges, add green depth, and visually expand the terrace—using dense foliage and occasional feature pots.
Paving + Movement Strip
A simple, organized paving layout maintains easy movement around the pool and seating areas, while keeping the terrace visually clean and spacious.

Warm deck finish around pool edge for a resort-like surface
Large-format outdoor tiles for a clean, modern terrace base
Raised planter boxes with neat kerb detailing for sharp edges
Pergola with patterned screening for filtered light and privacy

The palette is planned as a low-maintenance tropical-contemporary mix—broad-leaf greens, hardy shrubs, and cascading edges to soften structure without clutter.
